Bank ABC in Tunisia and Enda Tamweel have consolidated their partnership by signing a new loan agreement on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
Through this loan, Enda Tamweel, a pioneer in the microfinance sector in Tunisia, working for the financial inclusion of vulnerable populations, particularly women and young people, aims to strengthen its financing capacities for micro-entrepreneurs.
For Bank ABC in Tunisia, this agreement is part of its CSR strategy to contribute to the Social and Solidarity Economy and encourage micro-entrepreneurs to create and develop their projects.
On this occasion, Mr. Saber Ayadi, CEO of Bank ABC in Tunisia, declared "we welcome the signing of a new financing agreement with one of the main players in microfinance in Tunisia. This agreement seals our commitment, as a responsible economic player and citizen, to support the Social and Solidarity Economy. 4,400 micro-entrepreneurs, 58% of whom are women, to access financing for their projects. In line with our strategic objectives, we will work to consolidate our partnership with Enda Tamweel, by exploring other areas of collaboration, particularly in digitalization and other innovative initiatives for the benefit of micro-entrepreneurs. "
