Amman, Jordan: Bank ABC in Jordan provided support to the Jordan Environment Society (JES), by co-sponsoring the National Environmental Initiative launched by JES to collect over one million plastic water bottles. This support is rooted in the significance of contributing to the mitigation of climate change, alongside reducing the production of plastic containers to conserve natural resources. This is achieved through recycling used containers to create new environmentally friendly ones, meeting international specifications.
The General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, Mr. George Farah Sofia, emphasized the Bank’s ongoing commitment to environmental conservation, as well as its efforts to promote environmentally responsible behavior within society. These actions align with the bank’s sustainability strategy, which aims to minimize climate change impacts and preserve natural resources, ultimately striving for environmental equilibrium.
