Amman, Jordan: To help support underprivileged families with adequate clothing, Bank ABC in Jordan hosted an in-kind donation box at its head office in cooperation with the Charity Clothing Bank of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization. This initiative allows bank employees to donate good-quality clothing, shoes they no longer need, children’s toys and any other appropriate items.
This initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden on underprivileged families by providing them with clothing, while also promoting a culture of giving and social responsibility among employees. Additionally, it supports community-based initiatives in achieving the sustainable development goals within society.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. George Farah Sofia, the General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, stated: “We emphasize the importance of contributing to improving the lives of underprivileged families across the kingdom and remain committed to strengthening solidarity and social support for the less fortunate groups in society.”
