The Islamic banking window “alburaq” has an innovative organisational structure to ensure that its Shari’a-compliant activities remain independent of other conventional activities of Bank ABC in Algeria. It includes a central administration to support and organise activity, in addition to windows for the “alburaq” Islamic finance offering at Bank ABC Algeria’s network of branches.
Bank ABC Algeria has received a Shariah compliance certificate for its Islamic window “alburaq” from the National Shariah Board of Fatwa for the Islamic Financial Industry.
