Bank ABC in Jordan continues its support for Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development
Amman, Jordan: Driven by its belief in the importance of the education sector and as part of its commitment to its social responsibility, Bank ABC in Jordan continued its support for Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development by supporting the initiative of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans and “My Child’s First Years” program, which is a parental care program offered by Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development.
This support reflects the Bank’s keenness on contributing to Queen Rania Foundation's mission of development and education through its programs that are aimed at improving the opportunities for children and young people in Jordan and providing them with better knowledge, skills, strategies and values that will enable them to excel and stand out in a fast-paced competitive world. To this end, the two parties agreed to cooperate under the agreement to support the activities and programs of Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans, which provides scholarships for orphans to complete their higher education, in addition to covering their personal expenses, and also to support “My Child’s First Years” program, which is one of the Foundation’s programs that provide training for parents of children in their early years to help change certain practices adopted by parents and provide them with the necessary knowledge and tools to enhance their children’s education and development.
Mr. George Farah Sofia, the General Manager of Bank ABC in Jordan, expressed his pleasure for this continued support to increase the Bank's contribution to such important and humanitarian initiatives and to stress the importance of the private sector's role in the development of local communities, especially in the field of education, toward achieving the royal vision of partnership between the public and private sectors to the benefit of communities at academic and social levels.
For his part, Mr. Bassem Saad, the CEO of Queen Rania Foundation, expressed the foundation’s appreciation for the continued support provided by Bank ABC in Jordan, and highlighted the importance of such partnerships with private sector organizations to improve and develop education in Jordan and contribute to community development.
