Amman, Jordan: Bank ABC in Jordan continued to support the Green Caravan program launched by the Arab Group for the Protection of Natures (APN), which aims to achieve food security and develop communities towards a sustainable economy that creates work opportunities for citizens, particularly small farmers who are key to strengthening Jordan’s food basket.

This support is driven by the Bank’s belief in the importance of achieving sustainable development goals; to increase green space, fight desertification, enhance the ecosystem and alleviate the impact of climate change by planting fruit-bearing trees such as olive, citrus, amygdalae, grapes and other trees of nutritional, economic and environmental value, in order to ensure a sustainable future for Jordan’s farmers and rural community, in addition to enhancing food security and achieving self-sufficiency.
