Credit Cards Installment Programs

​​​​​​​​​​​​ABCE installment programs (Easy payment plan “EPP”) allows ABCE credit cardholders to pay back any transaction on fixed equal monthly installments.

1. ​​​EPP (non-interest bearing / non-processing fee model)​
  • Installment tenors starts from 3 to 12 months (3, 6, 9, 12 Months)
  • Max. Cap is set per card type from the card credit limit
    • 10% of Infinite card limit, maximum of EGP 50,000
    • 10% of Signature card limit, maximum EGP 30,000
    • 10% of Platinum card limit, maximum EGP 15,000​
    • 15% of Gold card limit, maximum EGP 3,000
    • 20% of Classic card limit, maximum EGP 1,000

2. ​​​​​EPP (processing fee model)
  • Installment tenors starts from 3 to 24 months (3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 Months).
  • Cap for the service is set at credit card limit for purchase transactions and available cash limit for cash transactions.

  • The calculated processing fee is due on the next month of enrolment. Ex. If the customer applied for the EPP (with-processing fee model) in March where statement is issued on 3rd of April, the first installment & the calculated​ processing fees will be due on 26th of April.
  • Cardholder has the right to request EPP early settlement with no refund of the collected processing fees.

​​General terms & conditions

  • This service is only available for transactions made as of the 4th day until the last working day of each month
  • It is available for ABCE credit cardholders by calling ABCE hotline: 19123 from inside Egypt or 0020219123 from outside Egypt, after making the transaction in Egypt or abroad
  • The cardholder can request within the same month of performing the transaction
  • Transactions that are done between the 1st and 3rd day of each month cannot be converted into installments
  • Transactions cannot be paid in installments from previous months' statements or any previous debts.
  • To pay in installments, the credit card must be valid, and it is not possible to pay in installments if the credit card is suspended for any reason.
  • The service is available on: 
    • Retail transactions only when applying for the 0% processing fee model
    • Retail and cash transactions when applying for the processing fee model
    • Domestic and international transactions
  • The transaction amount may not be less than EGP 1000 for retail transactions and EGP 2000 for cash transactions
  • There is no maximum number of transactions that can be converted into installments when applying for the processing fee model.
  • All credit cards including supplementary cards are eligible to this service.
  • The transaction amount requested to be paid in installments must be posted on the credit card and not on hold.
  • Statement minimum due amount is calculated as interest-free EPP instalment amount + 5% of total unenrolled balance.
  • EPP is available only on total transaction amount and transaction cannot be partially converted. Each converted transaction is treated as a whole and cannot be converted into different EPP plans.
  • For transactions in foreign currency, the installment and commission are calculated as per the EGP equivalent of the transaction original amount.
  • In case of cash transaction enrolment, the cash advance fee and any cash interest accrued until EPP enrolment date will be charged normally.
  • The first instalment is due on the next month of enrolment. Ex. If the customer applied for the EPP (non-processing fee model) during March and statement is issued on 3rd of April, the first instalment will be due on 26th of April.
  • The cancelation or early settlement fee for EPP is 5​% of the remaining EPP transaction amount.
  • In case customer missed two consecutive installment payments, the EPP plan will be subject to automatic cancellation and cancellation fees shall apply. The remaining unpaid balance will be charged the standard interest rate for purchases.
  • For cards having 100% Direct Debit instructions, before implement the EPP requests, Direct Debit Ratio should change to be 5%.
  • ​Customer must have no past dues on credit card at time of the EPP transaction booking.
  • ​Customers are not allowed to install partial amount of the transaction. 
  • For EPP cancelation, customers must contact the call center.
  • “Early Settlement”: The customer has to submit the request for early settlement over the phone through the call center, and cancellation fees will be charged as per the plan. ​​
